It seems to me that Vash had no intention of following any advice unless it affirmed that he was indeed in the right direction, yet simply needed a new angle. Kind of makes the whole thing seem stupid.
At any rate, the best and most reliable way to get traffic without a good idea or people is to find someone with a sizeable bot network to "produce" traffic.
