This is why Travis was so hated (Not by me of course, I could care less), because he expected special treatment, respect, and privileges. You should expect to earn back what you've lost ~ Not assume you just have it after a little time. Prove yourself to the staff and members of the forums and give them a reason not to ban you again (It's rhetorical don't start listing reasons). Don't just think "OH I'M COOL NOW I'LL JUST BE A COOL DUDE THEY WON'T CARE LOL".
