I know the RB instruments from #1 work with #2 but does the guitar hero 3 guitar work on it like it does in Rock band1?

Oh and how is the game for those who have it? I was going to wait for GH world tour but that's a month away >>, I was thinking of getting both after seeing the really positive reviews of RB2.
