i dont mean to be mean, but i just dont see what you mean exactly by your directions.

i just went to control panel>system>Advanced tab> and its near the bottom for startup and recovery settings. i just dont see where the beginning of your directions are. i mean rightclick on my computer? i dont have an icon on my desktop if thats what you mean? and the thing in my startup tab gives no option for advanced tab when right clicked.

well...i dont know if this is odd, but in my event log, for security, i have some anonymous logons?? what the hell? theres only one account on here with a strong pass, so what the **** is with this anonymous logon...it worries me. this happens pretty much the same time as my power down, so right not i think somthing up, i didnt get anything on avg, but this is srs.

i dont notive anything unusual with the other logs, nothing in the the system matches up with the time of my last one(though it was a blue screen not a power loss). and the applicaitons look normal.
