Right now, I'm using Gizmo, which is like skype, but cooler(eg. calling to landlines and mobiles for free). Only "problem" is that there's a few "catches", but nothing too unbearable.

My mom likes using the voice messenger on Yahoo instant messenger. I was like nub... use Google talk or Skype. She was like: What's that?

skype has calling to landlines and mobiles for free too

Do they? Last time I checked, they charged for landline and mobile calls, alteast for Singapore and Australia(I didn't bother to try the rest).

Yeah, skype has free calling to landlines anywhere in US+Canada now. Great for prank phone calls, if only there was a good way to record the convos.

Yep, I call people/friends/my mom with Skype all the time. LCS also calls people/friends/my mom with skype.
