I see. That explains why my program did nothing. (My program stops reading on null.) Then, are you sure you are doing it all the right way? That is, while you're at the battle.net logon screen?

Again, you do have administrator privileges right?

StarteR2 > Any success so far? Did you reboot your computer, etc? It really shouldn't matter though seeing how ArtMoney didn't find anything at that offset either. Are you sure you are doing this the right way?

Battle.net login screen > Alt+Tab (Minimize) > Click "Grab Key" ?

Just out of curiosity, would you happen to be using a non-English version of StarCraft?

I can vouch that the program did indeed work for patch 1.15.1. Thank you so very much. Cautiously I scanned it for viruses and disconnected myself from the internet. After that StarCraft started, I went up to the Battle.Net option, alt-tabbed and ran the key grabber to get my key.

To be more paranoid, I closed all of the processes, reconnected myself to the internet, and checked the ports out-bound. Again alls worked well, sorry for the mistrust, but this is my original cd-key we're talk'in about though. Thanks again.

Hi guys, as you can imagine. i lost my sc box...

And i have no idea about the number of my cd key! I already tried to 'grab' it with your grabber but it seems to not work. When i push grab it only gives my 2 small lines in the middle.
I see you were talking only about bw, i have only SC installed but not BW, i never bought it. Is it because of that?

I tried to install also the visual basic stuff u posted, but the only thing that happens is that i see the bar loading until it's over and...nothing else

I really need to get my key back

Any hints more that could save me? Thnks a lot and forgive me because of my english... Italians aren't really good in that

This is just a thought, but if you already have StarCraft installed, you would no longer need your CD-Key, would you? Unless you needed to reinstall, of course.

I'm sure a lot of people have Windows XP installed, as Vista is too buggy for things like games. Now, there has to be some way to get your CD-Key back. If worst comes to worst and we can't get it back, buy another copy of StarCraft for around $6.
