SFTP through an SSH tunnel, you mean?
And it's not any faster than standard FTP. Why? It's still MIMEing the data in a binary for ascII format across the intrawebz. And FTP is, ironically, file transfer protocol.

No, I didn't make myself clear enough. I use SSH to download an archive or database right off another server, and extract it right on my server. The server's upload speed, and my websites' server's download speed is much faster than mine. Also, extracting the archive right on the server is MUCH faster than my FTP program trying to upload hundreds of files and create hundreds of folders individually.
