That's what I was thinking -- maybe they disabled the sum/hash checks that hacks alter for the no-CD function to work. I wasn't sure though.

You never can tell with Activision Blizzard. They're always screwing StarCraft functions up, mainly because they don't put in enough effort to make the patches correctly.
