i take no claim in this program.. just for people who are poor and can not aford any thing els this is a great start.. it is opensource so thoughs of you here who are good at programing wich i know alot of you are.. for i have been comeing to this site for very long time.. just never reged... though i thought i did a while back ago.. but guess i dint any ways. is a screeny from there site..it functions alot like VB so it is good for learning i guess? i use Microsoft 2005 tools.. >.< for i got them free from them ^^ but.. this is small easy to use i think.. it seemed easy for me. i have tested it and it seems to work even with MS VB6/8[2005] scripts. but i am not 100% sure.. but yea.. i hope this isnt agenst rules.. i only read part of the rules.. o.o oh and so ya know it updates alot. but like i said or i think i said. seems alot of you here could make this even better. but its free .. and well. its not easy to find free things.. now there is nother thing i heard of thats called bloodshed. never checked it out but i well after i post this.. i have heard of it befor.. but i was reading forums and noticed some one els used it.. maybe it well be better than MS's **** but SharpDevelop 2 only works for .net 2.2/1.1 now SharpDevelop 1 works for 1.1 any ways it well only work on windows :( i hope some one likes it.. |

SharpDevelop is a very good IDE indeed.
Also if anyone here wants to use the Linux port of it, there's one called MonoDevelop. It uses the Mono Framework, which is a free (both in terms of free beer and free speech) framework compatible with MS DotNet. http://www.monodevelop.com/ As for Bloodshed Dev-C++, it's a pretty good IDE too, but there's a little difference between the two IDEs... please help im noob to programming
hey um im intersted in programming and im trying to learn it by my self i downloaded this dev C++ program and tryed to write a program with it it was hard but i got a simple progrm to sort of work but i was advised to use a java program maker while im still learning instead, i googled java program maker and i couldent find one all i could find was 1 with stuff already made it was JS_Collector_setup dos anyone know were i can get a program like dev C++ were u make ur own source codes for java? like dev c++ does? if anyone could help me thanks heaps in advance

There's a lot of 'shortcuts' in NetBeans, which is a free java based IDE for java. There's even a swing builder, so you might wanna check that out.
