Masses are the single greatest way of encouraging ill-logic. People let reason slip to satisfy the baser instincts and the easiest way to ignore reason is to do it en masse. You are a ****ing idiot. Both parties must be able to consent before the marriage can take place. A chair can not give consent. Therefore you couldn't marry a chair.
