But you see, I need this computer for my university. I might go far away from home and a desktop isn't really that efficient in terms of moving it from one place to another. arrg...
Centrino=Celron for Laptops=CRAP

Get a laptop with an AMD Athlon 64 Mobile. They are based on the San Diego Core, so I trust them. They Don't make dual core'd laptops as far as I know, but I'm sure you could always swap the proccessor out (You would have to deal with stock speeds, can'tt overclock a laptop much)
Here is a pretty good laptop, It'll game pretty well for a laptop.

Only for it's internal wireless capabilities, it's not good for anything else.

Gamepin, then what do you consider to me a good laptop?
I have been pondering upon that question for two weeks now :(

eh... you sure that's a good "reliable" laptop? I mean sure the specs look fine, but considering what makes a laptop, a laptop; that laptop is just too close to being a desktop computer.
Anyways, what is your opinion on getting a dual-core laptop?

My dad bought one like 3 weeks ago, that thing is pretty cool. It's like, my least hated laptop I've ever "played" with. I don't think they have dualcore laptops, but you can change a processor in 'em.

Your link is gay.
Centrino's are gay, get a Turion or Athlon 64.
If you really want a dual core, buy a laptop with a s939 proc but a decent amount of ram and decent hard drive and put an Opteron 165 in it.
