ok, 1st of all, bush got handed a bad economy from clinton. second, you never see the after effects of a president untill four years later, at least, so his NEXT term will show, in some small effect, how good of a president he is. History will be the only one to make that assesment. If your going to say something to sound intelectual, please use the correct words. For example, what is a "millenialists Zionist"? Bush didn't win because of stupid people, rednecks, or religious zealots. Once consumer confidence was ALREADY down he gave tax cuts to an American people that weren't willing to spend that money, hence we saw the recession dragged out THREE LONG YEARS more than it had to be.


Bush's recidivist policies regarding the Mexico City Policy which makes all our foriegn medical aid contingent on the fact it does not go to organzations or governments that support, use or even condone abortion or birth control has cut AIDS relief funding worldwide by over 90%!

Iraq needs no explanation: he lied to us about the threat. It was HIS decision to tell the American people that intel. that the CIA had told him was shaky at best was absolutely true. Hell, I don't think we should even be there now, why the hell is it our job to free the world at the expense of OUR troops and OUR economy? Seems like THAT used to be the Republican argument just a few years ago when Clinton suggested humanitarian interventions in Rawanda.

This BS "war on terror" is pissing the world off and just creating more recruits for the terrorists as we continue to violate other countries' sovereignty and cultures in the name of this nebulous-ass conflict. Thanks to Bush we probably WILL see some terrorists nuke a couple cities.

The faith-based initiatives are total crap, I am sick of my tax dollars funding religious charities. Those charities are not just going to seperare their religious propagation from their charity work. They are making me pay to help convert people to a religion that I don't even believe in!

Our civil liberties are truly going down the drain. Bush is going to push for a FULL RENEWAL of the patriot act which means "sneak and peak" searches that don't require warrants will CONTINUE to be legal, roving wiretaps will CONTINUE to be legal and the Justice Department will continued to be allowed to suspend Habeus Corpus rights for anyone it chooses WHENEVER it chooses. Don't even get me started on how Bush waived the GC's and anti-torture laws for "enemy combatants" and how he has reclassified American citizens as "enemy combatants!"

Bush will appoint crazy ass SC justices who will not only overturn Roe V Wade, but will do other crazy **** like turn a blind eye to challenges of his faith based crap and the Patriot Act.

The absolute worst though, is the debt. The Bush admin. has NEVER been fiscally conservative. They are a neocon spending machine. We learned in the 80s that you CANNOT lower taxes and increase spending and have everything work. We tax 18% of our GDP but the government spends 22%. You know what this will do to our currency over time?! IT'S GOING TO DEVALUE THE HELL OUT OF IT WHEN THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO COVER ITS SHORT TERM DEBTS TO OTHER COUNTRIES. This has been, and will continue to create hyperinflation here in the US and coupled with the Bush admin.'s support for outsourcing it will make unemployment continue to rise.


So considering the undeniable facts I listed above, yeah, only idiots/rednecks and religous nuts would have voted for Bush. You people truly do no understand how much is going to continue ****ing up America.
