Italy wins the World Cup

So, what do you think? The penalty shoot-out was pretty exciting, in my opinion.

The game was definately interesting. Both teams did pretty good, but I think France outplayed Italy even if they lost.
Zidanes foul, although very cool, hurt them quite a bit.

I feel that Italy's cross-in and headers are much more better than France. Their goal keeper have also managed to save a high header. If not for the penalty, France might not get a 1-1 draw.

Zidane have reach his 30's and is planning for retirement. If not for his red card, he could have score in penalty and retire with glory. But now, he leaves a red mark in his career.

During the penalty, France have hit the goal pole as they wish to show their skills.

With a poor attitute and big ambition, it is fair and square that France is no champion this year.

The game was so lame! France had control like the whole time and Italy sat on thier asses. The only reason they won was they were lucky with the one goal. Oh well. I loved Italy too! I am wearing #27 jersy right now trying to celebrate

Yeah I didn't like the game that much. It pissed me off. Even though my team won. Ever watched the episode of the simpsons where they went to a soccer game? well it reminded me of that.

I think France should have won it. They dominated the second half and pretty much most of extra time even with ten men.

I did love Zidane's penalty, so cool in a World Cup final.

And even though Zidane headbutted that guy, he still won Player of the Tournament!

That red card for Zidane was complete bull****. What he did deserved a red card but the ref did not see it, you can't call something 5min later. If the ref does not see it the game goes on. I found it funny how the italian guy got owned live on tv so a billion people saw him fall like a little girl.

I actually agree that none of the refrees saw it. I reckon there was video footage being checked and then given to the ref.

Also, on the news (on the net) Zidane's cousin said that there was racism and that the italian called Zidane a terrorist or something (Zidane is an Arab). There is also a clip on YouTube of a different angle of the headbutt and you could see the italian guy saying a lot of stuff.

France played better then Italy after the first half. But Italys penalties were brialliant.
