What was the fastest speed you ever drove with a car?

I am asking you because a few months ago I was driving this car

Ups, no this one:

This new 2006 BMW M5 (E60)
507 bhp, topspeed 168 mph/ 270 km/h with speed limiter (without 205 mph/ 330 km/h)
5-litre V10-engine, 520 NM, Redline at 8250 rpm

I was driving on a German Autobahn 168 mph/ 270 km/h. I really hate the speed limiter. That was really w0000000000000t.

The fastest I've gone is just over 90 because it wastes too much gas in my CRV, but I usually go about 80 all the way to work.

Well, when I was 11 I used to drive myself home from school everyday. (My GG would pick me up, and then I'd drive home. It was fun.) So, I never got to go that fast considering I was always driving city streets. A couple times I got lucky enough to go on the freeway, however, and if I remember correctly my highest would've been around 70mph.

115 or so on the onramp exit. It seems like the car started bouncing...I did not like that too much so I never did it again. (I live in ghettovile {also known as out in the country} where no one gives a **** if I drive)

There's an abandoned airport pretty close to where I live, so me and a few friends decided to have a little drag race, and fool around a bit. I came in 2nd with my 626. The winner was in a Maxima.

I'm a learner so I maxed 110.....

If I was caught at that speed.. they would take away my license (because I am a learner) and have me re-take the Learner's test after a period of 1 year.

116 in my trans am. But ever since then it started to burn oil and was missing really bad. I found out I broke a rocker arm, thus killing the third piston on the driver side
