My max speed on utorrent was: 600kb/s and the most upload was 150kb/s

People. Maybe I do not understand this "BitTorrent" and derivative software. But I think Limewire is better than them all. I don't like to search for torrents on google. When I want a song or a movie for example: I search in Limewire and get about 10 sources in a minute and receive a song in less than a minute and a movie in less than an hour. I rarely came across a torrent of a song or movie on google. EDIT: And any good ones I found had no seeds.

I think this new method of file sharing is awkward. In addition, I don't want to "share as I go" because I have a connection that has superior download to upload. If I upload even 5 KB it will lower my 250 KB/s download by 20%. I would much rather share AFTER I COMPLETE my download. I leave my computer on during the night anyways, and my share ratio ends up at 5:1 on limewire. Sadly, not many people use Limewire these days.

I'd like anyone to explain me exactly the advantage of using BitTorrent.

first off, get a dedicated bittorent website, google is not one of them, isohunt is, my number one bittorent website

now for gamepin - does it really matter what bittorent client you are using? really, doesnt it just come down to amount of seeds?

I use bittorrent because you can download entire albums, even discographies, at once. Instead of searching for hundreds of mp3s in Limewire, you can download a band's entire work with one download.

Limewire is also useless when it comes to apps and games.
