I am interest to see what the StarCraft girl/guy ratio is... I don't know any girls who play StarCraft, or any online multiplayer for that matter.

In the sex channel the ratio of boys/girl is alot more evened out then anywhere else I've been to on battle.net I've only come across 10 or so females in the past couple years, but then again not all females actually give any signs that they are females so I'm sure their gender goes unoticed and people assume they are males.
I've gotten my ass kicked a couple of times by some females. |

Well.. most people that play starcraft arent exceedingly good at it, and since there are few players that say they are girls and even fewer that are actually girls, your chance of finding an awesome girl player isnt exactly overwhelming. But I do know a few girls that are pretty good.. friends at school that are more obsessed with warcraft and the like right now.

My ex-girlfriend used to play Starcraft, of course I owned up on her. And everytime we would play a no rush game and time is up and I stomped her she would always be mad and end up not giving no loving afterwards. S'all good though. I think girls aren't that good at Starcraft, they like to make fun of how funny the characters look.

lol, I think girls (most girls) think gaming is lame... They too busy with makeup, gossip, and all that girl jazz.
My gf makes fun of me for gameing, cause its a big waste of time. I would have to agree to some extent, I have coutless hours invested into Starcraft (WAY WAY WAY too many). But its so addicting, and sadly I enjoy playing to much to be bothered by her teasing. suckergotserved has a good point... If girls did play, they would have to play 'countless hours' too, to be any good. And since that would take up soup opera time, or not leave enough time to apply make up and lipstick, they would never play that much. Therfor they would suck, we would kill em, and they would get mad cause they lost, which leads to no action. Who wants that to happen? thats what i thought.

yah i kno lots of girls that r really good at it. This chick asked me thru MSN if i played SC so we played a 2v6 comps and damn, she wasnt half bad...

The only remotely decent female I've ever met (assuming it was a female by her word alone) was one who placed 3rd in one of the cdeath tournaments. Of course that was before we started getting good players to play in them (like ilnp, dreame, rekrul, etc.).
But there are a few female pros. I know slayersboxer had a chick on his team at one time. She was ugly as hell.
