I have a project due the 25th and need some advice. Basically, I have to read the book Hidden Evidence, which is kinda like CSI. (full of forensic ****) I then have to make a project about it that shows the facts I learned about forensic science. The problem is the teacher left it up to us to figure out what to make. She said it can't be a poster, video, recording, etc... I'm graded based on originality (which I don't have any of) and need to think of something cool. I don't know how I would portray forensic facts through a 3d model, so I'm asking you guys for some help. What do you think I should do for the project?

You could use yourself as the 3D model and put 'blood' and whatnot on you and act like you're dead. And when you are asked about you're project you can point out all the crap.
Example: Bloody shirt, w/ a bloody plastic knife (Plastic, unless you intend to get arrested), finger prints on the knife (If the handle of the knife is black then I'd also bring a napkin, to give the illusion the killer tried to clean the knife and have fingerprints on the napkin as well as blood. Fingerprints are easy to make, scribble alot in one small area that would be around the size of your fingerprint. And then press down on it hard and then press it against the napkin.) That is if you can freestyle it I guess, but if you have to do it from a scene in the book then that changes things. Also, I'm sure theres some make-up that would give the look as if you have a black eye or bruises.

ignore my suggestion then.
whatever you do you're going to need 1)a chalk outline of a body OR 2)a dead body 3)an investigator 4)lots of fake blood 5)a report that explains your scene or model. i suggest that the person got sodomized multiple times then disemboweled. your teacher may like that.

A Diorama with a crime scene or whatever and explains why some of the parts of it are evidence, that shows what you learned, but then again, that isn't very original. :/

Be original by letting your "project" consist of an ORIGINAL, extensive letter to her saying that she is an unoriginal teacher because she's restricted cliché projects just like all the others. Follow up with a statement or two about how teachers should lead by example and that she's doing a horrible job.
