5 Years Probation 15 Years Time

I went to court today, and found out from my lawyer that I could get 5 years of probation (only if the DA is nice) or I could do 15 years. With my luck, I'll probably get the latter.

Criminal destruction to property and terroristic threats. I spent 16 hours in prison. My bail was $5500. I got out on a property bond.

I didn't really threaten my parents. I said to the officers, "I'd be better off they were dead." However, in the warrant, it said that I stated "If I had it my way, I would kill them." And to make things worse, I have a public defender. He said that he is going to try and get either the first offense rule or a diversion program.
