I hope google gets a big chunk. If most of the other major contenders get any you can be guaranteed they will be selfish and not work towards using it for anything but their own agendas. I personally think some of this should be left for open use by unlicensed WiMax and other technology.

The upside to the C block is even after somebody wins it, they will be required by law to allow any legitimate clients to access the network.

Having to pay the government billions to use a certain frequency seems asinine. I realize you have to organize this somehow but for **** sake...

It's a way for the government to locate replacement funds for the billions of wasted dollars caused by bad budgeting while still saving face with the telecommunications companies.
