How did you get you online nick name?

Mine I got like 8 or so years ago I was messing with ascii characters
it originally started as £vil §inz but I got lazy with typing out the alt+numbers and changed it to EvilSinz

Mine's kinda lame... back in 1995 I went to watch a stage hypnotist and was fascinated with it, so went to talk to the hypnotist after the show and stuff. His e-mail address was "hypn@<domain>".

The first time I needed a nickname for a multiplayer game (probably Duke Nukem 3D or Quake), given my interest of hypnosis, all I could think of was hypn... and it's kinda just stuck over the last 13 years so not much point changing it.

(off topic, that stage hypnotist and I have become really good friends over the years)

I was playing Gunz Online and I just wanted to put some kind of name which was already taken up by some one
So I decided to put a temporary name D@rekills4

Ah... I remember making a thread like this back on GC :P

I got my online name back in 2003 or so, just when I started playing Starcraft. At the time, I liked Dodge Vipers, and I still do today. The first portion of my name: ViperGTSR is taken directly from the Dodge Viper GTS-R Model. The 3g at the end is what personally defines the name to me, since I am the 3rd Generation of my family living in Hawaii.

Recently however, I have switched over from GTS to SRT. Since joining the Marine Corps, I consider it as an upgrade in my life, and thus, the old Viper model GTS has now been replaced by the new model, the Dodge Viper SRT-10.

KrAzYkArL1000- My original name here. My friend gave it to me for a screen name, and I couldn't think of anything better.

KJew- How most of you know me. Combines the first letter of my name(and my favorite letter) with my religion. Also can be interpreted as KillerJew. Used first on XBox Live.

JeweyK- Current name. When the ShoutBox was around, and after the Pit days, I got my name changed to kjew. I complained to SC_Modder and DSG in the Shoutbox, and they ****ed around with my name for a while. Then SCM made it JeweyK, and it had a nice ring to it, so I kept it.

And now you know.

First ingame name was on BattleZone2 and I went by Flame, But they did not require accounts.
So when I moved to Starcraft I got extremely pissed I couldnt get the name "Flame" so then chose "Mississippi9999", A few months later I picked:
Ghost-Flight which represented my strategy to go Ghosts and toss them in a Dropship to nuke the **** out of someone.

In 2003 I was just making up some random sh*t nickname to play on bnet and FlamingAsterix came out. For a while I was cA.flame when I was still doing all that clanning stuff, and then when I left that group FlamingAsterix came back. Now I use it a few other sites but on the ones where I am active it has been shortened to either ChronicF (on some torrent sites) or Fasterix.

Dyndrilliac is derived from Dendrophiliac, someone who is aroused by or fornicates with trees or plant-life. It came about when some friends dubbed me the official "tree-hugging hippie" of our group. It's ironic, because "living green" (in the eco-friendly sense of the phrase) isn't exactly one of my top priorities.

When I was a kiddo, one of my first words was mook; so I'm told I had a way of calling everyone a mook. From there on, the red fella' in the back of the Doom95 screen became a mook:

At that point, I was told about how it was one of my first words as a child and I thought it was rather amusing considering at that point (8 years old) the word came out naturally without me knowing exactly what it meant. Those cock suckers always killed me.
From there on I used it for my profiling, highscores and pretty much anything computer or game related. Once the internet filled up the variations started. Mook, M00K, Mookster, and as of late, Mookstah, and finally MookstahInc (a Sexyland based conglomerate dedicated to the enlightenment of ill-directed peoples, and encourager of natural selection -- Mookstah Incorporated.)

My original username, Tails Doll, came from a supposed curse that the Tails Doll from Sonic R would kill you if you beat the Sega Saturn edition of Sonic R 100%. Eventually I changed it to Aiur, which is the name of the Protoss homeworld.

This one "el-camino-ss" is my fav car, dont know why but ive liked the car since I was young and it always has stuck...

My new one in steam and email is "chicoquadcore" and thats because I live in chico and have a quad core :-p
