(CNN) -- Federal prosecutors charged two men with plotting a "killing spree" against African-Americans that would have been capped with an attempt to kill Sen. Barack Obama while they wore white tuxedos, federal officials said Monday.

The U.S. attorney's office in Jackson, Tennessee, said Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were self-described white supremacists who met online through a mutual friend.

Both men have been charged with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federally licensed gun dealer and making threats against a presidential candidate.

then an RPG would be more effective, as it works at range, and has a larger chance of killing him. if they could get their hands on some gustaf's or somthing, even better. Even some C4 planted under a sewer lid detonated when they drive over it would be better.

Obviously they were all talk, so it doesn't matter, i say I'm going to kill (insert name here) everyday, and I don't mean im going to go over to DC and kill them, I mean if i got the chance, they were in front of me, and I copuld get away with it, and it didn't go out of my way, i would do it.

I think getting a sawed off shotgun requires a lot less effort than getting an RPG launcher, or tracking a car and remote detonating C4 under it.

im not ****ing sick, i just have an overly active imagination that tends to depict violent and often grotesque scenes.....ok maybe i am.

Well, I was pointing out that while it is easier to buy a shotgun and saw off part of the barrel, it would be a stupid idea because their chances of sucess against, in all probability, a bullet proof vehicle are slim to none. Therefore if they were serious, they'd go for the more effective method that would secure almost certain success, some form of rocket launcher or explosive device.

If they don't have the tools neccesary for success, then they really are not prepared nor serious. I have connections to get some c4, as i know some guys in the army, and they've gone and blew **** up way way outside town with it. And I'm sure I could secure an old rpg launcher if i put my mind to it. I hung out with some seriously ****ed up people all throughout middle school and part of high school. If you think im sick, you serious dont want to meet those guys, they scare the **** out of me, one dude dented a locker pounding his fist into it until he started bleeding badly from his knuckles, i think he broke somthing....Im not too sure though, i never really hung out with him much, ****ing freak.
