Simply losing PA, and CA as projected creates a landslide in the electoral votes. PA was the tipping state, causing McCain to not be able to lose one more state.

As I said before, electorally it does seem to be a landslide. But far from it popular, deg is right about it being damn close.
As far as electorally is concerned, there is enough votes in most key point states, that they cant convert, unless as I said earlier, fraud or destruction of votes has occurred.

some people are citing a certain presence of a PUMA factor as the final precincts come in in Florida, Ohio, and Virginia, but i'm not optimistic. Obama did a good job of targeting the high count states, and definitely ran a close popular race.

Most people here, are just posting what news stations say. But they clearly aren't done, I mean Alaska was just confirmed 10 minutes ago...
The thing I do find that is inspiring with Obama, and gives me hope, is his request to McCain for help. See, a lot of people lose sight of the fact they're voting for the country, not they're own political party. No matter who won, it would take more then just that man to do the jobs needed to turn out country around. Also Obama, campaigned in states that were virtually impossible to win, simply to put out there that it is a united effort, not one side. I honestly dont think he is 100% qualified for president, but who really is? I think the ones that arent afraid to ask for guidance and help, and be willing to accept that are most qualified at all.(no Im not saying McCain wouldn't of asked for help, because the hints of his cabinet definitely suggested otherwise)
