Speaking from experience, despite warnings from friends, getting married was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Do you guys have a date in mind or is this just an abstract decision, the details of which are to be smoothed out as time allows?

We're unsure of a date. Probably in the summer as she will be working on getting her Bachelor of Education over the early 2009 term, and I doubt we will have the time.

That's why I wasn't too worried about having to babysit. I can still house sit, with the previous arrangements fulfilled as stated above.

But on a more serious note, I figured you'd have someone just as smart as you. And in that case, you both have lives to build, which you can now do together. That is the greatest thing about being with someone you love, not only do you walk through life's steps together, but you create and build your lives together around you. It's a one of a kind experience, and I'm sure you'll find it worth it every way!

Yeah, she's pretty amazing. It's weird to say but I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone different, to be completely honest. I was never really all for marriage until I was like in my late twenties, but I suppose stumbling across your soulmate can change that.

And yes, she's as smart as me. But we're smart at very different things. I'm all about the information technology stuff, and she aspires to be an elementary school teacher. Which is great, because she'll be great with kids.
