I work for a corporate location, I think that if there was 32gb iphone I would know, for god's sake I work for the company. It's funny you mention $20/ per month which leads me to believe that you have the old iphone. You are right you can watch movies on your iphone, the ones you buy through itunes, but I can take video and still have the same picture quality as the iphone. The iphone is NOT stereo bluetooth compaitable. Using a dongle????? Okay if thats what you herad on the internet. I don't need a dongle..... I have stero bluetooth capability...I need no dongle. You need to read further, because the link you gave me says that it does not support stereo playback. You clearly are uninformed. You have no idea about a product you seem to be so knowedgeable about. There is a difference in loving a phone and knowing everything about it. Granted, I work for the company and have a little bit more insight, yet, people like you who think they are hard core fans shouldn't open their mouth because you only like the phone, not everything it can do and you don't know anything about another phone to put it down. I'm sure your mom always told you, and maybe you should take her advice, think before you speak.
If we're talking about hands-on expirince, my dad has a blackberry, and when we're in wifi, he's always asking to use my Ipod Touch.

The Blackberry may have some more features of a buisness class phone, but most of them are superfluous. The iPhone's expandability is the true gem. If you need anything more than the iPhone can provide, get a ****ing laptop.

I respect your opinion as a consumer. Remember my arguement is with the Iphone vs the Bold. Not your father's bb which must not be the bold or the 8820. I'm not saying that an Iphone is not a quality phone, But what I'm saying is that if you compare the 3g Iphone or even the 1st gen Iphone compared to a Bold the winner is the Bold.

And ps the Iphone is a multi-media phone.

It was never the bold vs iPhone. It was BlackBerry's vs iPhone for the consumer. And I was mistaken, there's a 32mb iPod Touch, not iPhone..yet. And the BB REQUIRES you to have the $30(?!)/month data plan to even use the Wifi, iPhone does not. You've still not showed me anything that makes the bold any better, besides the fact you say OMG ITS BETTER!! Fact is, the iPhone's ability to add apps makes it the hands down winner already. It can be geared towards any consumer. For instance, snowboarders can download apps to get them information on their favorite slopes right on the 'desktop'. Stocks & email are right there also, along with an appointment book, just as any business class person would want. Also, the touch screen & page zooming makes any web browsing MUCH easier and smoother than any BlackBerry, hands down. iPhone can take video as well with apps, and movies imported through iTunes can simply be downloaded externally and added to iTunes. And the reason I say $20/month is because that's how much all of my BlackBerry's have costed me in data plans.

So lets see, you have stereo bluetooth headsets and expandable memory, I have touch screen, apps, and screen size?

While the resolution might be the same, I'd prefer the much larger screen, especially with web browsing. Frankly, you're the only person I talked to that has used both BlackBerry's and iPhones and liked the BB better.

Also, I understand you're new here, but this isn't the flame board. Keep that **** there, no matter how subtle. We're having an informative discussion, there's no need to throw **** like "think before you speak".

whats the opinion on the full keyboard, i see that as a real advantage over a touchphone.

i mean if your messaging, it seems like the touchscreen would be a huge handicap. My uncle has a touchscreen phone(not an iphone) and he cant even dial numbers because his fingers are too big. does the iphone address this handicap? because thats one of the things that turns me off of touchscreen phones, and turns me onto the bold.

And that.

We can argee to disagree. I know it hands down period. I deal with both phones on a daily basis you do not. I'm comparing the Iphone to the Bold and only that. Your the one that mentioned you had 3 previous bb not I. Theres phones for all types of ppl and all types of profession, My thing was that In my opinion personal and professional the 3g Iphone is a multi media phone. And the Bold is just a bit more. You said things about getting stocks and snowboarders getting slope info which can be done on the Bold just as well. What ever the g Iphone can do the Bold can As well with just a bit more , in my opinion and what I see on a daily basis.

Remember I work for the company I see who buys the phone, More kids then anything and when we probe them about why they want it the main reason is music and touch screen. which is fine by me because like i said its a media phone and only that. But the main complaint on the iphone is the texting and not able to send video messages and etc...

Like you said "It can be geared towards any consumer." Anything in life can be geared towards a consumer. I can get a Mercedes sure no problem, but can i afford it? Can I afford the maintence on it? No....We in sales have to probe the customer to make sure its a right fit and about 50% don't need certain phones that they want. Theres a difference in wanting it and needing it. Like I said before I'm not hating on the 3g iphone I'm just saying that the blackberry is a bit better.

Like you said "While the resolution might be the same, I'd prefer the much larger screen, especially with web browsing." To a point I too would like the larger screen, and again I think the web browsing is beautiful on the iphone. You said its funny that I'm the only one you spoken to that has used both phones and prefer a bb, buddy i speak to ppl everyday that has said the same thing.

FYI I'm not new on the site but just created a new account, so I do know that Some moderators when they feel they are disrespectedt they tend to give infractions for the smallest things. So if you thought I was a bit "crossing the lines" then I'm sorry you feel that way.

And finally why did you show a pic on the Bold? I told you I work for them? I see it everyday? Would you like me to show you mines? I'm a bit confused from you showing me the pic? I'm curious to know what bb models did you have? do you have an Iphone? And just to clear the air I'm not hating the iphone, i will give them props where its due, they were the first to start the touch screen war and sleek new design and integrate a well known itunes in the phone. They also are number 1 in phone sales surpassing the motorola razor, which puts the bb at number 3. For a company to have just come out within a couple of years i think thats great.

This by no means makes you an expert on the matter. Most of the chumps that try and sell these phones don't know squat about them.
