I'm not particularly sure what I'm being asked.

I assume that he means "Microsoft isn't as good as Sony, and Sony is better than Nintendo", in which case, I would say that is over-all false for the reason that all three companies have their strengths and weaknesses. I would say that Nintendo markets their products better, while Microsoft has better (and more patient) programmers, and Sony has better over-all hardware and more lucrative third-party licensing deals. I say third-party, because as far as first-party licensing goes, Nintendo rules the roost owning the licensing rights to some of their more iconic characters and story settings.
