Getting the New Xbox Console?

**** i no most of u out there seen the new Xbox 360 i my self is personally gonna pick it up on the first or 2nd week might even pre order the bitch mm some of the new features are good to Like...
Wireless Controllers
The ability to burn cds on it
Smaller than the first xbox
Xbox Live Gold
the Black n White button Moved infront of the L n R
Plays Vma's n much more but i forgot

I think I might not get any consoles... maybe the XboX 360? but Only if the XboX 360? has backward capability. (able to play games from the regular xbox ..)

But what I've heard, the regular xbox used nvidia and the xbox 360? is using some other GPU >_< So if Microsoft doesn't support backward capability ... they just want to sell another console ... make the xbox and xbox 360 seperate from each other >.<;

Yes, but I've played games using both ati and nvidia. Games are compatible. However some might be glitchy. On halo1 using ati card the active camoflauged people turned all grey. So there might be some bugs. If so I doubt with will be backwards compatible.

Unless Microsoft wants to make the majority of the xbox users out there mad because they cant play there halo 2 or splinter cell on xbox 360 ..i would think they make it backward compatible

That's only on the 9200, though. I think Xbox 360's graphics card is much better.

Xbox will be using the R500 GPU, which will have 48 pipelines. Much better than the 9200, heck, even better than the x850 XT Platinum Edition (Which has 16 pipelines, I believe). PC's will be getting the R420 this fall, which is inferior to the R500 of course. Looks like consoles will be having the upperhand against PC's for a while.

That would be a shock. I have yet to play a game on a console that looks better than it does on a PC, setting all of the out-of-date PCs aside, of course.

if you dont know, its gonna be upgradable, as in you can buy a stripped down version, and put whatever you want in it. as in better graphics cards, and such.
or you could buy it already built :D
im gonna get the stripped down version, and upgrade it to be the best possible :D
