Valve games in general, Mario series, Metroid series, LoZ series, SSB series, GTA series, Deus Ex, Call of Duty 4, C&C series, Company of Heroes, Battlefield 2.

FPS: Team Fortress 2, Deus Ex, Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 1 and 2, Call of Duty 4, Battlefield 2.

RTS: C&C: Tiberian Sun, Company of Heroes, Starcraft, Age of Empires 1-2, C&C 3, Defcon (just for the atmosphere).

TBS: Civilization IV and expos, Advance Wars series, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.

RPG: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (imo one of the best Mario games ever), Final Fantasy Tactics series, The World Ends With You, Final Fantasy X.

Sandbox games: Spore (when it comes out, jesus-tit****ing-christ), GTA:SA, GTA IV, Simcity 4.

Platform: Super Mario 3, Super Mario World 1 and 2, Metroid series.

Third person shooters: Hitman: Blood Money, Splinter Cell series.

There are others, but I'm not thinking of them right now. :D

Hands down it's got to be The Legend Of Dragoon. Followed by Final Fantasy 9 / Final Fantasy Tactics. I am a RPG turn based freak, I love 'em.
It saddens me that only consoles have turn based RPG's anymore. Western / action adventure RPG (Read: ****ty games) have taken over the PC's market.
