I think he's asking if it's possible that there can be a Metal Mario. Yes, the Super Smash Bros. for the N64 has a stage in the Competition Mode when you play stages against the computer AI, Metal Mario is one of the last ones before the Master Hand. He is extremely heavy and much more difficult to throw off the edge of the platform. Usually it takes 200%-250% damage percentage to be able to beat him.

you miss the point hellbound. Hes asking if you can play as him. Metal Mario only appears in 1 level and thats not the one, meaning that somebody chose him in that stage.

Answering your question YES it is possible. I played as Giant DK, Masterhand, metal mario and fighting polygon team. That was 5 years ago though. aah, how time passes by...
