"Hellgate: London" and "Tabula Rasa" both to go offline come February

If you were smart enough to see two fad's quickly coming and going, give yourself a pat on the back for not succumbing to the most recent DOA's in the MMO market. Both MMORPG's servers will go offline permanently come February.

Although, it should be noted that unlike Hellgate: London's abysmal failure, Tabula Rasa did better than expected (or at least, than I expected). Not only was it released prior to Hellgate: London by one day, it will go offline much later (Feb. 28th as opposed to Feb. 1st). In addition, Tabula Rasa had been in development for six years prior to it's release and had several delays.

Both games will be free to play for their remaining subscribers until the bitter end, although Tabula Rasa will not become free to play until January 10th, while Hellgate has been subscription-free since it's powers-that-be saw the end was near in July.

I'm a bit shocked Tabula Rasa died, no review that I noticed said it was 'that bad'.

Matrix Online and LotR are still going, yet they really are questionable mmos..

LotR online just got a new expansion, I doubt its gonna go down.

Hellgate London was the definition of bad. I couldn't get myself to even complete the single player because it was so boring.
