UO: New Player Assistance

Ok, here's what I'm going to do for all the people who join UO. I'll be giving you 10,000 gold, a full spellbook if you are a mage, a full necromancer spellbook if you're a necromancer, a runebook with a few runes already marked in it, and as soon as I've got my tailor finished, a set of exceptional spined leather armor. This will ease the pain of being new to the game, and allow you to get right to training your skills or fighting monsters, or both. When you create your character, either contact me via AIM (Ginsu on Demise), PM me, or post here so I can give you the above items.

I'll probably get it this weekend (unless i dl it before then). I will probably choose necromancer.

Oh, forgot to mention that the necromancer spellbooks will be missing the final spell, vampiric embrace. At maxed out inscription skill, I have a 2.4% chance of succeeding in making that spell. I tried for about half an hour last night to make one for saren, but I never succeeded.

Yeah, Mages and Necromancers are expensive to train, but they're the gods of killing **** en masse. Necromancers are also great for PvP.

Another thing I'll be doing for guild members is this. I've begun collecting all the armor, weapons and jewelry I get off the monsters I kill. This will all go into guild chests that any guild member may access and take what they like. The really good stuff I'll be keeping for myself, of course, but everything else is free game for any guild member. I just ask that you don't raid the chests and take everything, only get what you need, please.

You guys should check out the new guild hall. Fish has done a lot of work and put a lot of money into it. As for me, I looked at porn for that amount of time and let me tell you, that's a lot of porn.

I've actually dumped about a million gold into the guild so far. The guild hall alone was 748,000 gold, plus money to train my Carpentry and Tailoring (soon to be Blacksmithy and Tinkering as well), plus the cost of the furnishings I've put into the hall, plus the 25,000 guild creation fee. I'll be spending a lot more before I'm done, too. I still need to put the vendors in, stock the crates with various things, get an assload of bandages for the warriors, make a couple hundred various weapons for skill training....

i just made my char today he's a necromancer and i used the name duckduckgoose ... but uh im kinda stuck outside some crystal cave and crap and i cant find my way back to the starting city
