Spinning BacKround Text

This one is pretty easy but hard to explaine.** sorry if theres any typos*


1.Create a blank document, size depends on the size of your text, I made it 500 by 400px.
Black background. White foreground.
Type your text.

2.Turn the cancas by 90� clockwise (Image --> Rotate Canvas --> 90� CW) Then Copy the Text, Flip the Canvas back ( CWW ), Paste 2 times and move it to the side a bit and you should get something like this. **note this is mine when after the wind so dont worry about it till next step**


3.Now you are going to apply the wind filter
Filter --> Stylize --> Wind..
Use it twice from the right and twice from the left.

4.Turn the canvas by 90 CW(Image --> Rotate Canvas --> 90� CW) and use wind again, twice from the left and twice from the right:
Then Flip the Canvas BacK to 90 Cww. Heres what it should look like.


5.This is cool part....
Use Filter --> Distort --> Polar Coordinates
Rectangular to Polar. And it should look like this now.


6. Then at delete the text layer u started out with **Bw HacK in the middle*

7.Then right click on The layer with the spinning Text and click blending options. click on outer glow And select the color u want. Then click ok.
And it should look something like this.


8. Flip the Canvas again to 90 CW and copy the spining text. Flip the Canvas Back to 90 CWW and paste it. It should look something like this.
*note if u dont have the color for the text u paste just do sten 7 for that layer*

Then ur done ... Save as ur result and your done. Heres my final result.

eheh thx picked this up while i was trying to fix matrix text.

That kinda steals from the signature if you're going to use it in a sig. Everyone is going to be looking at the text, not the actual sig.

I really only see this used in gif's.

Reminds me of a brush tutorial I did a while back.
