MatriX text *New*
PHotoshop
I finaly found out how to do the backround of matrix. although the steps are pretty easy. 1. Open a new File using white as ur backround. Go to Filter>Texture>Grain, and use the settings: Intensity=100, Contrast=100, Grain Type=Vertical. 2. Next go to Filter>Art7istic>Neon Glow and use the settings: Glow=5, Glow Brightness=20 and use a green glow colour. It should be looking like it already. 3. Then go to Filter>Stylize>Glow Edges and use the settings: Edge Width=1 Edge Brightness=5 Smoothness=1 4.Now change the colours by going to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation, make sure colorize is checked and now change the colours to a green. 5. Then we need to add the droping effect. Rotate your canvas by going to Image>Rotate Canvas>90° CW. Right click on the layer and select duplicate layer. 6. Select the Background Layer and go to Filter>Stylize>Wind and check Method=Blast and Direction=From the left. Now press 'ok'. 7. Now select the layer without the wind effect (this should be the one on the top) and chance the opacity to about 55%. Now Rotate your canvas back by going to Image>Rotate Canvas>90° CCW. 8. Now to add the text. Select the text tool and write the text you want to use. Make the colour a light green, almost white, and make sure that the text is in Times New Roman and in BLOCK CAPITALS. 9. Now Rasterize the text by going to Layer>Rasterize>Type. Zoom in on the text and its time to chop it up! Select the rectangular marquee tool and select small bits of the text and move it about to make it look like the text used on the Matrix logo 10. Now duplicate the text layer. Then select the top text layer. Now go to Layer>Layer Style>Outer Glow. Change the Blend Mode to Normal and use these settings: Opacity=100, Noise=0, Colour= Green, Spead=15%, Size=15px, Range=50, Jitter=0. Now go to Color Overlay and change the colour to a light green, almost white, with the opacity=100. Click 'ok' 11. Now select the text layer that has no effects to it. Go to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur. Set the Angle to 0 and the distance to 250 pixels. Now click on 'ok' Now duplicate the layer with the motion blur two times. Now merge the three blured layers together by selecting the top one, then going to Layer>Merge Down then repeating the merge again. 12.To change the colour of the blur go to Layer>Layer Style>Colour Overlay. Change the colour to green and your done. Heres mine. ![]() IF u have any questions abt this or need help * reply here * :btw: sorry i cant get more pictures up.. dont have time :D

Just out of curiosity.. How would you know if he didn't post the same tutorial at another site, and reposted it over here? I'm not saying that's the case in this instance, but I'm curious how you can really "tell".
