Adobe Illustrator CS : Using Layers
#1: Start out by making a few squares that are overlaping.
![]() #2: Select a shape that you want to move to the front. ![]() #3: Press Crtl + ] to move a layer to the front, and Ctrl + [ to move a layer to the back. ![]() #4: Chage the layer of each shape, to reorder them how you like, the layer tool can be very very useful. ![]() Like if im trying to make a picture of this ski: ![]() I would start by making the outline: ![]() Than fill in the negative space with a blob: ![]() Color the shape: ![]() Ajust its layer: ![]()

![]() I'm slowly starting to get a LITTLE better at Illustrator. It takes practice thought right? Practice makes perfect. I hope so. I've been practicing alot. But I still suck. But really, thanks alot for the tutorials.
