Shining text animation

This tutorial will teach you to make something like this,i didn't spend that much time on it so it doesn't look too good but oh well. Credits go to Evil_sinz for telling me i forgot last image.

Step 1. First open up a new file with whatever size you want.

Step 2.Create a new layer and select the gradient tool.Use the reflected gradient and make something like this.

Step 3. Now push ctrl+u and set it to any colour that you want,make sure you tick the box "colourize". For this tutorial i chose a light blue kind of colour. after this switch to imageready.

Step 4. Now select the gradient layer and use the move tool to move it to the left until you can barely see the light.

Step 5. Now duplicate the frame,for those who do not know where that is i have provided an image.

Step 6. Now select the move tool and move the gradient layer to the right until you can barely see it on the last letter.

Step 7.Now click on the second frame if it isn't already on it ,click tween and apply these settings.

and thats how you make the first one.

To make the second one just tween the last frame with these settings

And thats how you make it,have fun and happy animating

Very nice Tutorial...also i like to ask y i gave you the idea for inhale userbar n didnt recieve one =/

Dude Blazer, youre userbars are nice, but they can be even better, read these tutorials http://www.good-tutorials.com/track/9806 . I made all of mine, except the halo 2 one, n the SC one.

Nice tuts,

Try includig "Image Ready" instead of photoshop, so we dont confuse static vs. animated tutorials.

I know the person that made the sc one because he also made my signature,i just added the rain effect.
