The best anti-spyware programs ive found were AD-Ware SE AS the best, Microsoft Anti-Spyware as second(you can dl it off of microsoft.com free for 100 days), and Spyware Doctor. AOL AntiSpyware is the worst i've ever seen. You can download most anti-spyware prgrams from morpheus.com, you dont have to have morpheus to do it just click in the search box on the website and search anti-spyware and it'll give you a list of programs you can dl from the website for free.

No offense but morpheus is a slow dler and limewire is much better.

I use SpySweeper... its an ok program with a nice interface...

Its really good and its free! I also use spysweeper and ad-aware and Spybot SD use them all cause ive found out that some of them dont find what the others find..so i make sure nothing bad is on my computer. :D :D

Ive found Ares to be much better than both and wile i download a lot i got 1 corupt file out of like 1000+

Limewire tells you if you are dling a corrupt file and asks you if you want to continue to dl it or not. Never heard of Ares...but ill have to look into it. If it doesnt have alot of sources Ill be Messaging you back..lol. ;)

I just refrain from installing/downloading "free" programs (read: kazaa, mercora, exeem, etc, etc, etc)and turned of active-x downloads in IE, I have not been bothered since.

Ad-Aware is a great free program, I would also reccomend Spy Bot.
