Support Information Regarding - Graphic Issues:
==================================================
Video and sound problems such as distortion, improper color being displayed, and some locks and crashes during game play can be attributed to the video and/or sound card and/or its drivers. The two most common solutions for sound and video related issues are making sure you have the latest version of DirectX and graphic drivers.
Check the motherboard manufacturer's website for updated chipset drivers, first. If you can't find updated drivers at the manufacturer's website, the next two most common locations for chipset drivers are (http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2) and (http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/)
To identify what versions you have installed for DirectX, Video, and Sound, please visit our "Driver Update Information" page here: (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mwr0371p).
To download and install the latest version of DirectX, please go here: (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dir...ds/default.htm)
Note: If you are going to download the latest version of DirectX, please make sure the drivers you will be using will be compatible. If you are unsure, please contact your video card manufacturer for specifics on this or any other driver related question.
For a list of video and sound card manufacturers and their web sites where you can download your latest drivers please visit our "links to manufacturers web sites" page here: (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0369p).
SPECIAL NOTE FOR WARCRAFT III USERS:
For specifics on your particular video card and what drivers we have tested and recommend using, please visit our "Warcraft III video compatibility table" here: (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mwr0555p)
SPECIAL NOTE FOR DIABLO II USERS:
If you are still having problems after updating and/or reinstalling the video card driver, you should run the game in DirectDraw (2D) mode for now and check periodically for new drivers from your manufacturer. To run the game in DirectDraw(2D), click on Start, Programs, Diablo II, and then Video Test. After the test is completed, select the DirectDraw option for your video mode.
Again, if the response given above has not assisted you or it was not relevant towards your message, please reply back to this email and a live technician will respond to you as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
