Need help viewing private pics in hi5

Hay guys need some help, is there a way to view private profiles in hi5 other than adding the users? Recently hi5 has changed the privacy setting into letting you see the profile description but not the photos...and I want the photos.

I think you're getting the wrong impression, let me explain. There's this hot chick (friend of mine) that had this kickass hi5 account but she abandoned her hi5 and hasn't touched her profile ever since. Just want to salvage her pics. And no, she's 18.

Ever think that there isn't a way to bypass it without actually being their friend? Besides, you have to realize most people here might not even use that website.

I am her friend, it's just that she doesnt use hi5 anymore.

Maybe you can bypass it with fake cookies oo... I'll look in to it. I'm not sure... I was trained in Hardware, did a little bit of OS, then went to Cyber Security.

I looked into it and the easy conventional ways don't work. I then went further and got a friend and myself to sign up to test some things. There is no "private profile" kind of function? When I clicked on Account I saw "Profile View Options" and checked it to "Only allows those in my extended-network" or something like that and then saved it. The other guy looked at my profile and could still access the images and everything. Is there something I'm missing? I've looked in all the Profile options but can't come across anything else that could be it. I use to actually do this kind of thing long time ago with an old BWHack member actually who recruited me for a hacker group called "Digital Assassins". We'd decrypt pages and do awhole bunch of stuff there was this one tool (for explorer though) that really helped when it came to this, however I forget the name of it too. I'll try looking more into it but in the meantime can you post some more details?

Ok it's kind of complicated. Here's an extract from the FAQ section:

How can I view my friend's photo album?

Click on your friend's profile and you can view his Photo Albums on the right side of his Profile under the “Friends” section. However, you will not be able to view your friend’s Private albums. You will also be able to see your friend's photo album if he has sent you an invite to view it.

So apparently there are 2 reasons why the photos aren't viewable. It's either becuase it's a private album or the user needs to recieve an invite to view the public album.

Here's how you tell the difference between when a user has NO pictures at all, and when she's just hiding them.



Generally when there's no pics you just see the yellow face, but if you click the picture circled in red you'll see that in the search window she does have a pic, but in her profile she doesnt...for our eyes at least.

I happened to see the question asked in this topic and gave it a shot.
(I know this question was posted about 2 years ago...)


As you may or may not have noticed, both of the links you provided are expired profiles.

This user is no longer a member of hi5.

Non the less, it was an easy task for me to get into hi5's database and retrieve her images.
