Default Dual monitors and games

Ok I know games weren't made for dual monitors but I was wondering if it?s possible to run games while you have that "extended desktop" enabled. And I was wondering if that is even a smart idea at all.

So far when I open up games they crash right off the bat or when I drag the mouse out of the game it crashes. But then again if I did something on the other monitor what would happen to the game? Would it minimize or something?

Well anyway I think it isn't meant for games in the first place because I searched the ATI help and support stuff and could only find stuff about games that supported dual monitors.

Anyway that?s everything thanks if you can help me out again.

There are some games that support dual monitors, but most don't. When you run a game, it will run on the primary monitor. If it's in fullscreen mode, all your mouse activity will be limited to that monitor. With Brood War, your other monitor switches to match the resolution, and color scheme. Currently, I have 2 video cards and I run dual monitor with a TV-Out.

That's what I thought. I guess I will just keep disabling the second monitor before I play games. :CD
