Default Logging into Bnet

I've been having some problems logging into Bnet on my old computer running Win98. It was working fine a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not sure why it stopped.
hen trying to log in, it stays stuck on "Accessing Account".
I tried re-installing like 5 times, tried deleting all the registry keys, etc...
I'm pretty sure its not because of any network issues, because my newer computer on the same network can log in just fine.

Anybody know why this could be happening?

What about the other servers? Have you tried the others?

Try re-installing with another cd-key.

Port Fowarding? Maybe the ports SC uses are fowarded on one PC and not to the other. Or the ports are blocked on your IP at your router for some reason. Of course, this is assuming you use a router.

Yeah, I have a router, but I don't use any port forwarding or any of those things. I'm not sure if Win98 has a firewall or not.

Okay, I found something really wierd. I use two routers plugged into each other (one is for my phone) and their local ips are 192.168.15.1 and 192.168.1.1. The 192.168.15.1 is the one for my phone and is directly plugged into the internet. The other router is plugged into one of the computer ports on that one.
The wierd thing is, if I try to access 192.168.15.1 on my old computer, it says: "page cannot be displayed", but if it works on my newer computer. On the old computer I can access 192.168.1.1 though.

Maybe my router has a problem with old computers :p.

Did you update it? I used to have this same problem with my old Win 98. It wouldn't let me on Bnet to update, I had to manually update the game and then it would let me on. Have you ever thought of getting a newer Operating System?

Yeah, I manually updated the game, but still doesn't work. I'm gonna re-format the hard drive on it hopefully soon, so it'll probably work then.
