I would tell you to:
1) Find a password recovery tool for Windows XP 2) Log on Admin 3) Change your own priveleges but of course that's somewhat on the lines of illegal, so I won't tell you to do it ;)

I have 1.11b and everything that i need to play cuz i used to play it until i got taken off as an administrator... this is exactly wat the warning says
Battle.net was unable to properly identify your application version. Please uninstall and reinstall the application. If the problem persists you may have a computer virus. For information on detecting and removing the virus please contact us by email at Support@Blizzard.com Is there a way i could use a password recovery tool to just like get the password and not change it or reset it or anything i have looked at a lot of programs but they all just reset it

~Miss[/b][/quote] OMG MISS R U LISTENING... it wont work because i am not admininstrator... well heres my theory... it wont work cuz starcraft is installed in program files and only the admin has access to that and wen i try to go on bnet it tries to modify these files so it gives me an error.. i tried re installing it into a different directory and at the very end of the installation i get an error thats says: Setup was unable to copy the following file: SetupDat\ScUnin.exe Error 0x0000005: Access is denied. (C:\Files\Installer\setup\DiskUndo.cpp:240) Installation aborted. lol so i guess no more starcraft for a while

Ok, the version doesnt matter I was just fooling around, this is how you can bypass and give yourself ADMIN privileges in almost any XP based system this of course doesnt work if the Owner of the computer has took care off this flaw..
1. Restart your computer 2. After your BIOS flash (e.g. IBM at the startup), press F8 3. A lot off options will prompt, select "Safe mode", click enter 4. Wait 'till windows loads up 5. A new account will appear named Owner, Administrador (esp systems), or whatever 6. Click on it if it loads without prompting you a password, you are lucky bastard, otherwise sorry this will not work for you please abort :( 7. Go to the user settings 8. Select your account, give it Admin Privleges 9. Restart 10. Have Fun! I repeat by the default all XP based computers have this security flaw, but if the owner of the computer has given a pass to the Owner, Administrador (esp systems) then you will not be able to change your account settings.. BTW, that's all I can give as support if that doesnt work or if you **** your computer there's **** I can do for you.. proceed with care..
