Hi, I'm new to this site.
Anyway, I'm having a trouble logging into battle.net for Starcraft: Broodwar. Whenever I choose a gateway and click on Okay, the program starts to load up to the "Accessing Account", and then it stops and shows me this message: "Battle.net was unable to properly identify your application version. etc.". I know that I don't have any viruses and trojans (I've used System Mechanic 7 and Spybot SD), I completely erased all the Starcraft components when I reinstalled it couple of times (including the ones that were in the registry key thing). I've refreshed my Battle.net server list, but nothing seems to work. This all started just few days after I downloaded and used the iNhale. I was wondering if someone knew how to fix this problem. |

Strange. Unless someone else comes up with something, I would say do a uninstall/install on sc again. Then put the inhale folder in the sc directory and alt+tab out of bnet to load it.

Wait, but I completely deleted the iNhale folder along with Starcraft. I reinstalled Starcraft exactly 4 times after making changes (mostly finding and deleting remnants of iNhale, Starcraft, battle.net, and blizzard). Besides, I'm no longer using iNhale at all.

By the way, I can't even connect to other gateways. I can still play single player mode perfectly fine. Is there any chance that iNhale had some sort of trojans on it? Blizzard support says that all hacks have trojans to load on to people's computers to screw up their Battle.net accounts or whatever.
Any chance that Battle.net has banned me for hacking? |

Inhale has absolutely no trojans in it. Bnet just says that to keep newbs away from hacks. I am not saying some hacks don't have trojans, just that Inhale in no way does. Have you downloaded and installed the most recent patch for BW or SC if that is all you have installed? You should see "Version 1.14" in the bottom right corner of your main SC screen, the first one you come to after loading the game. If you don't then go to blizzard and download it.
The other problem you could have is that you installed the 1.14 SC patch and are trying to get on a BW server. HAS to be the correct version.

If you are useing a loader you will never log into bnet. Use the installation shortcut. Or go to /Program Files/Starcraft/ and run Starcraft.exe |
