Linksys WRK54G router being messed up

So my friend has a Linksys WRK54G, and it's allowing his wireless computer to go on the internet, but his wired computer is unable to connect. It can connect to the router, yet it can't go to the local host to change router settings. The computer doesn't get any error messages, and it "connects" just fine. Anyone had this problem, or know a fix to it? Thanks guys. +Rep for help ^.^

The WRK54G is a crappy/watered down version of the WRT54G.... How are you trying to log in? You are browsing to 192.168.1.1 and putting a blank username with the password admin in the login box, right?

When I attempt to log into the 192.168.1.1, it asks if I wanna connect or stay offline, when I try to connect, doesn't do anything, and working offline does nothing also.
As for the firmware, it's the newest ><

Oh yea, I can change the router settings with the wireless computer he has just fine, just not with the wired one. Any suggestions? I'm going there on Friday again, I plan to take SS's of each page of my router, since it's the same one and we have the same general setup going on, and then put in my settings on his. Seem okay?

It could be the wired computer or its network card. But i guess its worth a shot.

I was thinking the network card, but I put another Ethernet card in, still doesn't work >< I have though, I'll try that one too.
