Help Please

I dled the files and everything, so did my friend. We are both doing it at same time while chatting on msn together, we both did same things and everything. Well the hack works for him, but wont work for me, it just crashs bw. Whats up with that? And the damnation.exe box that appears says that bw was detected and **** and the .dll was injected, but it closes bw. Any ideas?

Make sure not to start it while you're in a game.

Not in game, wherever i am in broodwar, ive tried every screen pretty much. And it still crashes.

When does broodwar crash? Immediately after loading Damnation or when you start a game?

You might want to try uninstalling broodwar then reinstalling and reapplying the 1.11 patch.

my friend and I are having similar problems. If I type text and hit enter in the game (not in battle.net chat) it boots us to the desktop. I tried redownloading damnation and damn.dll and my cfg file is set up correctly.

Fixed it, needed to get a 1.11 no cd launcher from gamecopyworld and it worked.

and to answer this it crashes as soon as it injects the .dll. I dont even have time to open bw before it crashes itself.

sounds like when it gets injected, the calling thread isn't exiting right.

it crashes before u open bw? try this:

put in ur bw cd, log on to battle.net, alt-tab out, start damn, then click back in. shouldn't be any problems.

i can open damn fine, but i cant inject the .dll

There is a very strong possibility that one of the files may be corrupt or damaged. Try downloading a fresh copy of both Damnation and the plugin. You might also want to try using a different compression/zip program such as PowerArchiver.

Can anyone tell me y the 1.11b maphack wont work it keeps injecting damned.dll not

i even tried switching it to this but it doesnt seem to save it........everytime i try opening damn.cfg it says its not a vaild win32 application anyone tell me how to open it and change the file to inject???

ROFL what I did was just make a New folder
put only ----damnation, maphack11b.dll, and damn.cfg.-----

And of course with
$ClassName=SWarClass
$DLL=maphack111b.dll

When I first downloaded it, it was getting confused with the previous hacks he released so I just restarted with a fresh new folder and a fresh new damnation.

Seemed to work for me don't know about you.

I spent a couple hours today trying to teach people how to work the maphack. I know it's not rocket science but maybe it would create less complications if instead of letting people download just the maphack111b.dll file, let them download a zip file with Damnation, damn.cfg, and maphack111b.dll. As well as

$ClassName=SWarClass
$DLL=maphack111b.dll

already configured inside of damn.cfg so all they would have to do is download it, and double click a button.

People just dont seem to understand instructions.
