I've seen all of the flash movies that have been uploaded onto youtube, but I can't figure out how they converted flash to video.
Anyone got a clue? I've tried just about every trial software you can imagine, but to no success. Usually, they end up falling out of sync with sound or have glitches in the video because they run on old versions of flash.

There are numerous ways to do this.
1. Fraps while playing the flash in media player (codec required from codec packs) 2. Re-encode the flash file with VirtualDub 3. Export the flash to an AVI with Adobe Flash Professional. 4. Possibly the dumbest way, use a recording program like Camtasia and record the tiny spot while the flash video is playing (not efficient, but works). There are more ways, these are just ones I could think of off the top of my head.

.flv is flash video. I was referring to .swf, shockwave flash. sry.
I mean .swf's converted to video and then uploaded onto youtube.

Super won't but thanks anyway.
I found out that I can use Sothink SWF quicker . I can import .swf files and then export them as video.

Flashmx does this natively and will export to microsoft AVI or quicktime .mov if you have Q7 or later installed.
It's in the publishing versions. You will lose all clickable effects and all non-explicit math though.

I meant converting already published/protected files. Thanks though.
