Video card help...

Hello fellow bdubbers. I need a upgrade for the dell. It's a dimension 3000 ('04 baby) and I need a good PCI card (I know PCI and good shouldn't be in the same sentence). I've found a few on newegg but I need a few more opinions. If anyone could skim over the list and give me a recommendation that would be great. Remember it's from '04 so I'm stuck with DDR memory.

I intend to play WoW with it, price is not a factor.

Ouch a 2004 and that thing only has a PCI slot and no PCI-e I would think about buying a new one if I was you. But out of the PCI cards I would pick this one Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H24PF512PNP Radeon HD 2400PRO 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI HDCP Ready Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards but since you only have a micro case it's going to be hard fitting that thing in you might need to cut some metal away and let some of the card stick out but really don't plan on finding a card made since 2000 that will fit in a micro case.

Yes.

The graphic card's onboard memory runs independently & has nothing to do with the RAM on your mainboard.

Your also most likely going to need to buy a new power supply I don't see the stock one with that computer holding up.
