i want to run sli and wanted to know what kind of board i have? micro atx? **** idk....i also want an economical board 99.99 and under if possible. I seen a couple but idk.... i would prefer to keep the same case i have which is stock gateway.

if you want sli, you obviously need 2 pci express slots, and a sli based motherboard. itll have sli in the name usually. im pretty sure nvidia doesnt like other manufacturer using their own boards, so mostly its the nforce boards you have to have. look at newegg, all the ones with sli in the name can run sli, otherwise they dont have the right chipset. or so i understand anyway.

you need a power supply sli support, aka enough extra gpu card power cables. im pretty sure you need a sli bridge too, idk.

To find the mobo you have now download http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz_147.zip it's a great tool to find out all the information about your computer and to get a true boost out of both of your cards your going to need a x48 chipset which will not come cheap all the p45 chipsets break the PCI 2.0 slots into 8 lanes.
