Hmm. You know all you have to do to reset almost ALL routers to the default password (usually admin/admin) is unplug it for aobut five seconds then plug it back in? It kills the memory. Gotta love it. That's how I change my router settings without my father knowing.. he just gets a little paranoid when there hasn't been a power outage and the pass is admin. Don't reset it too often. Good luck wiht that.

Lol, I'm late too.

i know this post is old but me and a friend are having a problem too. he is using a linksys rouder and in warcraft 3 when he tries to invite me on a team, we can't do it. the error message says something about our firewalls or the ports being blocked or something. same thing when i invite him. but we can both join a game made by someone else. we're pretty sure his router is the problem, any suggestions?

Psst enabling DMZ will fix all compatibility issues, as it forwards all ports.

Yea, for me I can't host any games... I opened up all the ports all the sites tell me, but I still can't host at all. I'm on a linksys router.

Everyone, enable DMZ hosting from your routers interface, then disable Windows Firewall from the control panel. If you have another firewall like norton, mcaffe or sygate, disable that too. It's that easy.

how do you know which IP address your computer has through the router? I'm not really sure I should be "100."
