Blizzard Hates Me

I've been IP banned from USEast. Why you ask? I said "bwhacks.com" in a public channel, and boom, suddenly, I'm IP banned.(I'm guessing they don't like this website) It happened around 12PM, so it has been going for 6 and a half hours now. Also, all of my B.Net proxies, that worked a few weeks ago, are also now IP banned, leaving me to say "OMGWTFBBQ!"

I tried resetting my modem countless times, hoping to get my IP to change, but I had no such luck. I tried using my ISP's 'live chat' and talk to them, one time they said to reset the modem and router, and again it had no results, and the second guy said there was nothing he could do.

So basicly, now I'm screwed. Enless anyone knows any working proxies or a way for me to reset my IP. And, could someone possibly enlighten me as to how long these bans last?

Unplug your router. Then plug it back in. You'll have a different IP.

Swap modems with somebody? Maybe change your nic, or change the mac address on either of those. Find another proxie. Play on uswest?

Blizzard doesn't hate you, the just have a strange way of showing how much they love you.

There isn't much you can do but wait for the ipban to go away or for your IP to change.

It's better blizzard hates you then us, anyways couldn't you just use another key?

I'll test it on east, I dont play on there anyways.

I went through brood war usa 1-9 and spammed it, and nothing seemed to happen.

There must have been some sort of admin on at the time.

I was in the clan recruitment channel at the time. No admin, it just happened. The second I said it I was IP banned.

I think your only banned for a short while, under a week or something.

If you type a website address in Clan Recruitment ur screwed for 4 days unless u change IP address

yeah I tried it, I got the "connection inturupted" the second time I posted the link, then "No response from battle.net" when I tried to connect.
