Default Turning a unit into a hallucination

Here's the scenario. I am basically creating random characters for a computer player. I am storing these characters that are created away from my main portion of the game. Now i have to create these units with normal create unit with properties because if i create then as hallucinations my triggers do not recognize them. When i run a certain trigger I would like to give the units to my current player but only as hallucinations. Does anyone have any ideas?

There is a way to detect hallucinations.. i forget how so i will check into it, but giving them to a player when they belong to another.. i have no idea.

I'll be sure to post anything up if i find it.

You can't turn a unit into a hallucination.

True but he could use a normal unit as the trigger, give it to whichever player, then remove unit > create same unit as hallucination in the same spot on hyper trigger...

as far as detection and other hallucination related things..

I will say this again there IS a way to detect a hallucination, i would guess it is by moving units to a location and moving them back so it appears as if nothing were there(example 4x4-6x6 square of land surrounded by 2x water all around), for example you make a hallucination in that area and you can only move (5) units instead of (6) then you know there was a hallucination there and you can trigger off it.. but detecting specific units in hallucinated form would require testing and DIFFERENT sizes for each hallu unit...

but i do not know if this is the method of detecting hallu i encountered before..

Again just a thought I'm not really trying to be 100% correct with this im a little busy but you get the idea ya?

i thought sc vessal could detecked them. and if you creat unit with prop you can do it. if not i think you can change unit props aswell
