Eh, that could explain the losses. They might be checking their charts to see if a huge jump in losses occured when they introduced this "mini-Warden".

I guess I'm just stating the obvious or completely incorrect.

If you understood the architecture of warden in the slightest then you would understand that that is irrelevant.

Actually it's not for this case. All you have to do is make it think that SC was never modified.

It's the same Warden for every game client. There is no "this case". They can use any of those extra features at any time.

First, KC: What is the problem with posting this to the public? Some of us "Public" people are actually here to learn, not just to beg.
Secondly, Kwarad is right... you can't prevent them activating Warden's full features, at the very least, if you plan to keep doing this when SC2 comes out, you need to learn to deal with Warden as a whole. As far as Brood Wars goes, I personally doubt they'll activate full warden until they overhaul battle.net for SC2 in 2008. This doesn't matter though, Blizzard can and WILL use Warden to its fullest in 2008... period. Anyone who wants to flame me for this post, go ahead. I might not be as experienced as everyone here, but that doesn't mean I won't speak my mind.

We are figuring out how to defeat warden as a whole, but if Agent wants to try and keep Blizzard from activating warden's other features then why is he posting publically about how to defeat it in its current state? If anything it will rush them to active other features in the warden.

And if you are trying to learn then this is not a good place to start (this thread that is). Dont bitch at me how I dont want some stuff in the public, I really couldnt care less about your opinion on the matter.

Well, I can still get something out of it, and there's not much else to do with a broken leg in summer. I've had some experience programming in the past, as well. And I do see your point about posting it, but someone could get something out of this, take it home, and come up with something. I'd say the possibility of that is worth the chance Blizzard will read this.

Its not that blizzard will read this. If they read this they would be laughing there asses off at how nub we are. But by more and more people putting this into there hacks, in an attempt by them to stop use of the hacks, they would activate more features.

It's better that they be forced to activate them now, than lull you all into a false sense of security and then ban twice as many people.
